The first annual Energy Intrusion Detection 2019 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands follows the recent adoption of the NIS Directive by the EU, which mandates increased cybersecurity requirements for essential service providers, including utilities. This three-day program was put together to provide utility operators with a clear roadmap for upgrading the security of their OT/ICS networks and supporting compliance with these new regulations. Attendees can explore technology solutions that solve the unique challenges of complying with the NIS Directive, including cutting-edge intrusion detection systems (IDS), specifically for utility environments.
Forescout’s Sr. Director, Industrial and OT Technology Innovation, Elisa Costante, will join the Technology Innovation Panel on Wednesday, January 30th at 11:00 AM . She will share the results achieved from the application of our intrusion detection solution for OT/ICS networks in an electric utility environment and present research and development activities that her team is currently working on to meet the future demands and challenges of securing critical infrastructure. The panel discussion will be followed by 30 minutes of Q&A.
